Singing Christmas songs to Reception
We had a lovely time this afternoon singing Christmas songs with Reception. We taught them one of our favourite songs and they taught us one of their songs from their play.

Today we made the final alterations to our playscripts. We added stage directions so that the actors know how to move on the stage.
We are looking forward to turning our scripts into real plays next week!
Play Directors – Part 3 – Making the stage
This afternoon we used our designs from yesterday to make our stages. We were very creative and had a great time!
Play Directors Part 2 – Drafting the playscript
Today we used the stories that we wrote to draft our playscripts. Tomorrow we will be editing and improving them ready to act out next week.
Year 3 become directors – Part 1 – Stage Design
We are really enjoying turning our fables into play scripts.
After spending yesterday, planning which we wanted to act out, we spent today’s lesson designing the stage. Tomorrow we are looking forward to drafting the play script and making a 3D stage.

Year 3 children provided a treat for the local residents when they sang some Christmas songs for the local residents.
