This week in Year 3 the children have been learning about the religion of Islam and exploring why Muslims choose to follow their faith.  The class also learned about why Muslims pray and how prayer helps them feel connected to Allah.

Through thoughtful discussions the children gained a greater understanding of the importance of prayer as a key part of Muslim life.

To deepen their learning the children completed a classroom task to show what they had discovered about Islam and Muslim prayer.
