Bluebirds are learning about fables. Yesterday they created a toolkit of what features fables usually include:

► The story has a moral/message.
► A lesson is learnt.
► They often include animals that can speak.
► A bad event happens.
► Includes a wise, clever character.
► Includes a foolish character.
► Often in an outdoor, countryside setting.
► Fables tend to be short.

We have some copies of the book Aesop’s Fables which Moharnab has previously read and borrowed from the local library. Today, the children got into small groups to retell some fables to each other.
